SMG Energy Monitoring and Targeting service allows you to reduce energy costs through improved energy efficiency and energy management control. From its Energy Efficiency Operating Center (EEOC), SMG collects, analyzes and reports critical data from the manufacturing plant energy conversion systems. Energy consumption targets are set inline with processes Minimum Energy Requirements (MER) thus, allowing a set of automatic alarms that help identify areas of energy waste and drifts in energy consumptions.
Data collected from power meters, steam generators , compressed air flow meters, fuel meters and other energy conversion systems is consolidated into a single rugged, double-weatherproof data logger / remote monitoring system (The HOBO® U30) adapted for long-term use in harsh environments.
HOBO® U30 features web-based communications (Via Ethernet or WIFI), and a wide range of plug-and-play sensors for remote areas, a mobile data communication modem can be added to provide internet connectivity to the remote monitoring solution.
Data can be viewed and downloaded from the EEOC where reports shall be generated and alarms thresholds configured upon exceeding targeted consumption is exceeded. Data can also be securely accessed anywhere and anytime.
